Abstract

Various methods can be used to remove ammonium from the water. In this study, the objective was the adsorption of ammonia by using harmless natural adsorbents. The toxic effect of ammonia on aquatic organisms changes depending on pH values. It was also focused on investigate the effects of the adsorbents on the pH in ammonium adsorption process.
