On restricted edge connectivity of generalized permutation graphs

Tiedan Zhu, Jianping Ou

Abstract

To construct a lager graphs from two smaller ones that have same order, one can add an arbitrary perfect matching between their vertex-sets, permutation graphs (or generalized prisms) are special cases of these graphs. This work presents bounds on the edge connectivity and restricted edge connectivity of these graphs, which results in schemes for optimizing edge connectivity of these graphs. Many well-known results are direct consquence of our observations.

Keywords

edge connectivity; generality permutation graph; restricted edge connectivity
