Maximum Likelihood Estimation for Distribution Generated by Cauchy Stable Law

In this paper, we consider “Discrete Distribution Generated by Cauchy Stable Law” (in short, Discrete Cauchy Distribution) which arises in large-scale biomolecular systems. Using the well-known Scoring Method we obtain maximum likelihood (ML) estimators of the location parameter "delta" for such discrete distribution. We consider ML estimation of the location parameter "delta" for different sample sizes using the statistical software “R”.
