Dynamics of Directly Transmitted Viral Micro Parasite Model

Appa Rao D., Vali S. Kalesha, A. V. Paparao

Abstract

Analyze the stability of directly transmitted viral micro parasite model wherein the total population (N) is constant by births and deaths and x, y, z represents susceptible, infective, immune populations respectively. The model is represented by the system of nonlinear ordinary differential equations. We observe that the model possess unique endemic equilibrium point, when the basic reproduction rate R0 exceeds one. Also, the endemic equilibrium point is locally asymptotically stable if and the system is globally asymptotically stable. By numerical simulation, we show that at the threshold population size Nc, the parasite cannot maintain itself in the population i.e., eventually dies out the removable and infective class.
