Ecological and Economic Evaluation of Transport System Functioning According To the Territory Sustainable Development

Abstract


Preconditions of the sustainable development of the territory are determined. The authors propose the mechanism of the territory sustainable development to provide its main principals. The authors propose the main components of the territory sustainable development mechanism. All these components are to provide the collaboration of ecological, economic and social goals. Besides according to this mechanism the transport system is to be reoriented. Moreover the transport system is to include the main principals of the sustainable development of the territory. The authors highlighted that the reorientation of the transport system would have a lot of ecological, economic and social positive effects. One of the main effects is the reducing of the environmental damage. The authors proposed the method to evaluate the effectiveness of reorientation of the transport system. In the manuscript the authors estimated the environmental damage with train system and without it. According to the results the environmental damage with train system is less than without it.
