Design Justification of Drainage and Anti Filter Facilities of the Tailings at Various Methods of their Constructions

Kaerbek Rafkatovich Argimbaev, Matvey Matveevich Yakubovskiy, Marina Arkadyevna Ivanova

This article describes the design of drainage and impervious facilities with various methods of dam construction (piling and aggradations/ levee). The estimations of seepage leaks in order to substantiate the feasibility of tailing shield bowl and to prevent contaminants into the environment have been carried out. The method of calculating the parameters of seepage flow in the body and at the base of the composite-type rock fill dam with the core has been considered.

tailing dump, dike site, pressure gradient, filtration leakage, concentration tailings, filtering factor.
