Simulation of the Crushing/Agglomeration Drops For Approach and Development of Dust Control Systems Devices

The results of the research at the Mining University proposed the construction of sprayers for dust control. The principle of operation is based on a water spraying in compressed air stream. The first step in developing a new liquid spray device was to build a three-dimensional hydraulic model to identify dependencies flowing liquid and gaseous phases. With computational modeling of processes associated with the formation and distribution of spray can be identified aspects of greatest difficulty:
1 Establishing a connection between the parameters of the flow in the device itself and the characteristics of the gas-droplet flow flowing out into outer space;
2 Accounting for changes in droplet size;
3 Features of interaction with the surrounding gas drops;
4 Simulation of the crushing/agglomeration drops;
5 Calculation of phase transformation of particles (evaporation/crystallization).
