G. Nirmala Priya, Kannan G

Abstract

Automation is an essential mechanism in every field of today’s world using the currently available resources in an economical way. Everyday life without an automobile is improbable in this world. So this work aims at the development of explanatory system to display the multiple technical and safety parameters of the automobile resources like Emission, fuel flow, the alternate voltage of engine, engine temperature, exhaust temperature, a percentage of the hydrocarbons, tyre pressure, coolant, oil level, speed of engine and vehicle using a sole and compact LCD. The proposed method is also capable of improving the on-road CO2 emission estimation in automobiles by sending collected data to the National Data Centre (NDC) for further processing using Internet of Things (IoT) where the data is compared with a threshold value and sends warning to the user in case of an abnormal condition.
