Determining the electromagnetic fields scattered from PEC cylinders

Saeed Hatamzadeh-Varmazyar, Zahra Masouri

Abstract

This paper focuses on determining the electromagnetic fields scattered from perfect electrically conducting (PEC) cylinders. For this purpose, a linear Fredholm integral equation of the second kind is used for modeling of the problem. A collocation method is applied, as a numerical approach, to obtain an approximate solution for this model. Numerical results of the method are given for two cases.
