First Order Differential recurrence equations with discrete auto-convolution

Mircea Cirnu

Abstract

In this paper we give some examples of solving first order differential recurrence equations. Such an equation consists of a sequence of differential equations from which a sequence of unknown functions is deduced by recurrence. Equations considered here are first order nonlinear differential algebraic equations, containing the discrete auto-convolution of the sequence of unknown functions. We solve these equations for several initial values problems. In the first part of the paper, algebraic recurrence equations are presented, in correspondence with the considered differential recurrence equations.

Keywords
