Homotopy Perturbation Method for Solving Tenth Order Boundary Value Problems

In this paper, homotopy perturbation method (HPM) is utilized for obtaining approximate analytical solutions for tenth-order boundary value problems. Three examples are presented in order to illustrate the effectiveness of HPM for solving tenthorder boundary value problems. HPM usually yields satisfactory results by calculating at least three statements of the p-terms. However, it was shown in the numerical examples that highly accurate results were obtained by calculating only one p-term of the series, revealing the effectiveness of the HPM solution. Comparison of the results from HPM with those of the exact solution also proved the high level of precision in the results obtained. It was concluded that HPM is a powerful tool for solving high-order boundary value problems arising in various fields of engineering and science.
