ARIMA and GEP models for climate variation

Abstract


Modeling the climate variation is the first step in understanding and predicting the climate evolution. Different methods can be used. In this article we propose two different models for the data collected at a meteorological station in Dobroudgea, a region of Romania. They were obtained by Box – Jenkins and gene programming algorithms.
