Hun-cycling Recycling, circular economy on the example of Nádasrét in Miskolc

László Bencző

Abstract

My study deals with the recultivation of the infertile heap and slag dump of the former Lenin Metallurgical Works in the center of Miskolc and the possible reuse and use of the area. The subject of my publication is the possibility of recycling slags with varying physical and chemical compositions – accumulated as by-products of iron and steel production in the above-mentioned, currently defunct metallurgical plant. I will further analyze and narrow down the topic, moving towards waste management and recultivation, examining it from a social and economic point of view.
