Dynamics of Three Species Ecological model with Distributed Type delay

Abstract



This paper deals with the soundness analysis of 3 species Ecological model consists of a Prey (N1), a predator (N2) and a competitor (N3). A Time delay (continuous type) is incorporated within the interaction of predator and competitor species. The model is studied by the system of integro- differential equations. Stability Analysis is studied at co-existing state using 2 kinds of delay kernels (weight functions). The system stability is studied using square type and exponential type delay kernels and shown that the system is conditionally stable. Global stability analysis is studied by selecting appropriate lyapuonov function. Numerical simulation is carried out in support of stability analysis using 2 different kernels and shown that the delay kernels will switch the soundness from unstable to stable or contrariwise.
