Modelling of a wind turbine in a single mass with a permanent magnet synchronous machine

In this paper, we propose the study of the modelling of a wind turbine in a single mass with permanent magnet synchronous machine (PMSM) by the bond graph methodology. We present in this study : modeling, and analysis of this system. On the other hand, the wind turbine model in a single mass comes from the simplification of the one with two masses, it’s intended for large wind turbines with rigid axles. This approach is completely systematic and has sufficient flexibility to be able to introduce different sub-models in the complete model.
