Modeling and Analysis of the Interaction of Neutral and Welfare Populations: A Competitive Species Model

A. Kazmierczak

Abstract

The rise of the welfare state in the United State has brought concern, debate, and contention to the modern world... In this paper, we present a dynamical systems model of the interaction between a neutral and welfare population. The formulation is based on models of interactions between competing species dynamics. An exploration of the long-term dynamics and stability of homogeneous equilibrium solutions and their stability is given. This work follows closely our previous work in this area [1, 2].
