Abstract

This paper is aimed to analyze the presence of microseepage on the ground surface of onshore hydrocarbon field, with the research area at West Tugu Field, Indramayu District, Indonesia. Microseepage can be detected in many ways, including hydrocarbon detection index (HDI), hydrocarbon index (HI), and radon analysis. The HDI and the HI are calculated by band ratio at SWIR region at different wavelengths, while radon is obtained with direct measurement in the field. The HDI value 1 or the HI value 0 indicates that microseepage exists on the ground surface, while radon in the hydrocarbon field forms a pattern with high values at the border and low values in the middle. Forty–four soil spectral reflectance and radon were measured on the ground surface that crossed the hydrocarbon field, with three survey lines.

Keywords
