Abstract

Oncological diseases have become a «plague» of XXI century. One of the most important cases of high mortality from oncological diseases is their untimely diagnosis that is linked with reluctance of people to regular medical examinations and shortage of special equipment for diseases diagnosis. Nowadays intraoperative probes for gamma radiation registration are used for local detection of areas of radiopharmaceutical accumulation in tissues. The proposed in the paper gamma-probe can be used for intraoperative diagnosis of sentinel lymph nodes and noninvasive diagnosis of superficial types of cancer. Nowadays a prototype of the gamma-probe is developed and created. This prototype consists of a detecting part and a block of electronics. Among its advantages is spatial resolution and selectivity. Portability of the device and the opportunity of control with the help of a small computer play a great role in an operating room.

Keywords
