A New CUT Method for Spliced Organ Segmentation in Computer Tomography Images to Provide Effective Radiotherapy

V.V. Gomathi, S. Karthikeyan

Abstract

Medical Image segmentation plays a significant role in many medical images processing for effective diagnosis. An immense research has been done in medical image segmentation, but it is still difficult to evaluate all the medical images. Organ segmentation is a challenging problem in the multiple slice of medical images. In this paper, we propose a new CUT Method for interactive spliced organ segmentation of computer tomography images. The main aim of this research work is to segment the spliced organ from the initial segmentation results without any superfluous pixels and to avoid inappropriate segmentation in the multiple slice of computer tomography images. The Real time dataset is used to evaluate the performance of the proposed method. An experimental result shows that the proposed method gives more accurate segmentation results.
