Monitoring of Air and Water near Quarries, and Measures to Mitigate Environmental Impact

Kaerbek Rafkatovich Argimbaev

Abstract

There are a lot of sources of anthropogenic nature causing air pollution and disruption of ecological balance in the biosphere. However, the most significant sources are transport and industry. This article considers harmful substances that affect water and air. Measures to mitigate adverse environmental impact are proposed. A methodology to determine the concentration of pollutants in the ambient air contained in emissions of mining enterprises is considered. Indicators to carry out component-wise and comprehensive analyses of the state of water and air are recommended.
