Uncertain Linear Regression Analysis Model

Zhigang Wang, Yiping Fu, Fanji Tian

Abstract

The emphasis in this paper is mainly on uncertain linear regression model based on uncertainty theory. Firstly, expert’s experimental data and Delphi method for estimating empirical uncertainty distributions are introduced. Secondly, by collecting and interpreting expert’s experimental data, we establish an uncertain linear regression model and get the optimal solution of the model parameter estimation. Finally, two examples show that the uncertain linear regression model is better than the simple linear regression model.

Keywords

uncertain statistics, uncertainty distribution, uncertain linear regression model, simple linear regression model, Delphi method.
