Abstract

The recent advancements in employing the use of depth camera has brought real-time image capturing a step closer to the rendering of these images, which can be further processed according to the problem statement. Through our project, we propose a mechanism to render the hostile environment using the depth resolution camera technique and then applying principles from Swarm Intelligence, precisely the Bee Swarm Intelligence, to map the prospective targets and obstructions in the environ. From the data thus mapped, we utilize the efficient searching algorithms under the aegis of Artificial Intelligence to determine the most optimal path to reach the target. The proposed system underlies the framework of Multi-agent systems that facilitate division of labor, parallel processing with collaborative work and thus, a highly robust solution to the problem in hand.

Keywords

artificial intelligence, bee swarm algorithms, multi-agent system, optimal path computation.
