A.I. Natalisanto, G. B. Suparta, A. Harjoko

Abstract

Transmitted light tomography is a new type of optical tomography focused on capturing internal cross section of a transparent object. In this paper, the derivation of image reconstruction technique for the tomography is described. The invented technique is a modified filter-back-projection formula. A computer simulation to examine the reliability of the technique is then shown. The simulation revealed that the technique could construct images from the pertinent projections.

Keywords

Tomography, transparent object, reconstruction technique.
