A new lifetime distribution with increasing-decreasing failure rate function

In this paper, we introduce a new probability model with increasing-decreasing failure rate function. The new distribution, that is extended from Lindley distribution based on Marshall-Olkin method, is useful in reliability and lifetime researches. Some properties of this new
model are examined. Moment and Maximum likelihood estimation are discussed. Quan-tiles of this distribution are obtained with using Lambert function. Application of the new model to reliability data is proposed.
