Hopf Bifurcation Analysis and Stochastic Influence of a Delayed SIR Model

Madhusudhan Reddy K, Lakshmi Narayan K, Ravindra Reddy B

Abstract

This paper explores a delayed SIR model in which incidence rate is of saturated type under stochastic authority (white noise). The stability concerning infection-free and positive equilibriums involving some delay and also little or no delay is studied. Hopf bifurcation analysis is also factored in by assuming time delay as parameter involving bifurcation. Besides, the stochastic stability of the model at the positive steady state is investigated. Further, some numerical examples have been included in support of analytical findings.
