Dynamics of Sirs Epidemic Model Under Treatment with Saturated Incidence Rate

Ranjith Kumar G, Lakshmi Narayan K, Ravindra Reddy B

Abstract

In this paper, SIRS epidemic model undergoing treatment of the epidemic, having saturated incidence rate is being studied. Here we assumed that the treatment rate is relative to the quantity of infective, when infective are not exactly the limit, and the treatment rate is steady when infective are more than the limit. The existence and stability of equilibrium points are analyzed for both the cases. Additionally numerical examples are given to delineate the explanatory results.

Keywords
