ASP Flooding Numerical Simulation Model for Remaining Oil

Yin Daiyin, Li Wenliang

Abstract

ASP Flooding composed of Alkali, Surfactant and Polymer composite system is a flooding oil method, after Alkaline flooding, Surfactant flooding and Polymer flooding, on those basis it is developed a new technology to enhance oil recovery significantly. In this paper, according to the seepage mechanism of ASP Flooding, the basis of the principle of conservation of mass and energy balance, taking into account the surfactant adsorption, ion exchange, interfacial tension and dissolution ratio, viscosity, relative permeability of the reservoir effecting fluid etc. Establish the mathematical model of ASP flooding, and use the finite difference method of the implicit pressure explicit saturation to solve mathematical model, applying model to conduct history matching of actual mining numerical simulation, and research the distribution of remaining oil, obtain the good effect. The computational result of the model is reliable, and computing speed is greatly improved. The results show that the mathematical model can simulate the development process of ASP Flooding better, and guide field application.
