Research on Online Industrial Cluster Model of SMEs Based on Complex Network Evolutionary Game
Abstract
Online industry cluster, emerging as a novel business model facilitated by the digital economy, present new opportunities for the development of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). Based on evolutionary game theory, this paper analyzes the realization conditions of SME online industrial cluster model. It also investigates the diffusion mechanism of SMEs’ participation in online industrial cluster decision-making under various influences combined with complex networks. Subsequently, the dynamic evolution process of the cluster model is analyzed using numerical simulation. Theoretically, this paper breaks through the limitations of traditional industrial cluster and reflects the new characteristics and models of industrial cluster in the digital economy era. Practically, online industrial clusters based on digital platform services can enable SMEs to integrate into the digital revolution and enhance resilience and competitiveness. The findings indicate that an increase in online business opportunities and transaction efficiency augments SMEs’ propensity to engage with online industrial clusters. Digital governance is found to alleviate the adverse effects of platform monopolies and data security threats, thereby facilitating the spread of decision-making. Furthermore, the study reveals that the number of SMEs participating in online clusters has a more significant influence on successful decision dissemination than product homogeneity. Both elements affect SMEs’ strategic choices by altering the competitive landscape within the clusters. Additionally, robust relational and institutional trust serves as an intrinsic motivator for SMEs’ participation in online clusters. Lastly, the coordination provided by industry associations acts as an external incentive, reducing trust-related risks within the clusters and encouraging active SME involvement.
