Construction of Dependent Mixed Sampling Plans Using ChSP-2 Plan as Attribute Plan Indexed Through AQL

R. Radhakrishnan, P. G. Saravanan

Abstract

The independent mixed plans are based on statistical interdependence between the probabilities of variables and attributes in their methodology. In dependent mixed plans there is a dependency between attributes and variables under consideration. The main advantage of dependent mixed plans is that it provides the Average Sample Number (ASN) in better way when compared to independent mixed plans. This paper is giving major thrust on construction of dependent mixed plan using Chain Sampling Plans of the type ChSP-2 as attribute plan by taking Acceptable Quality Level (AQL) as a quality standard. These plans are also compared with the independent mixed sampling plan (MSP) indexed through AQL. Suitable tables are also presented with examples for the selection of the plans.

Keywords
