Integrated Attenuation Relations for Indian Strong Motion Data

Tanuja Srivastava, Abha Mittal

Abstract

An integrated attenuation relationship has been developed using sixteen well behaved attenuation relationships available in the literature. The developed integrated relationship has been compared with the observed strong motion data
(peak acceleration values) of the earthquake events that occurred in the Himalayan region of India. As a result, the presented relationship should provide more stable and least biased values as compared to an arbitrarily chosen relationship.
