Yu-Lu Liao, Yen-Sen Ni

Abstract

How to evaluate the performance of oversea convertible bonds would be an essential issue for enterprises, since more and more oversea funds are raised for the electronic firms in Taiwan. In this study, we explore the performance of the high-tech firms issuing oversea convertible bonds, categorize these issuing companies according to the TCRI credit rating, firm scales, EPS, and P/E, and then reveal the firms with superior performance under limited samples according to TOPSIS evaluation method. We argue that this study would contribute the literature by providing persuading evidences under few samples, which is rarely taken into account seriously in the relevant studies.
