The Determination of Reasonable Bailing Period for Bailing Production

YIN Daiyin, LI Yuanting

Abstract

This study proposed a theoretical calculation formula of bailing well production under the situations of both effective and ineffective injections. According to the characteristics of bailing production in low permeability oilfield, the deduction of the formula considered the fact that starting pressure gradient exists in reservoir and bailing wells all need fracturing, and used conformal transformation method. The proposed method can calculate both current and future bailing output, and overcomes the defects of empirical method that needs well test data and can not predict the future bailing productivity. The test results from Daqing block X bailing test area showed that with the calculation error under 5%, this theoretical method can meet the need of engineering calculation .Combining this conclusion with economic evaluation, the method for determining reasonable bailing period for bailing production was provided and the reasonable bailing period was calculate, which provided a basis for the economic and effective development of low permeability oilfields.

Keywords
