Mathematical Model of Influence on Road Traffic Capacity with Occupied Lane

Qiuhong Li, Shuke Zhou

Abstract

This paper uses statistical principles, and collects the traffic data of occupied lane , and obtains the change process of cross-section actual traffic capacity after an dispose, then gets different occupied lanes’s actual traffic capacity, the same cross-sectional analysis of traffic accidents attributable to the cross-section of different lanes affect actual capacity differences. Combined with real-life situations builds mathematical model to analyze the relationships among the impact of road traffic accidents and accident vehicle queue length of the actual cross-section capacity, the duration of the accident, the traffic flow of sections’ upstream.

Keywords
