Biomass Boiler Main Steam Temperature Distributed Control System Based on H∞ Mixed Sensitivity

Yanmin Wu, Hong Wang, Guangzhao Cui

Abstract

Biomass boiler main steam temperature is not regulated easily, because the model of main steam temperature is of highly uncertainty and load situation varies greatly. A H∞ mixed sensitivity robust controller is designed to improve the system control quality. Reasonable weighting functions are selected, and the singular value curves are given. Simulation experiment of H∞ mixed sensitivity control is conducted based on MATLAB/SIMULINK toolbox, and the results are compared with the conventional PID control. The Simulations show that, when the object model varies strongly, H∞ mixed sensitivity control can also optimize the main steam temperature system with better robustness stability and anti-interference ability. Biomass boiler main steam temperature real-time distributed control system is developed, and the preliminary experiment is made. The result shows that the biomass boiler main steam temperature system of H∞ mixed sensitivity control has strong robustness and dynamic performance.
