Location Decision Model of Emergency Material Storage under Disaster Warning

Hualing Lu, Wei Zhang, Deqiang Fu

Abstract

People in all walks of life pay more and more concern to selection of the location for emergency material storage due to frequent disasters all over the world in recent year. Corresponding to the actual objectives and constraints, many location models of emergency material storage have been established. These models have taken into account the repository costs, facilities service efficiency and over-coverage of great weighted regions under disaster warning so that it makes the objectives and constraints of repository more in line with the actual location decisions made by decision-makers. For algorithm design, combined with examples, Non-dominated Sorting Genetic Algorithm Ⅱ(NSGA-Ⅱ) with elitist strategy is
adopted to solve the location problem for emergency material storage while Pareto non-inferior solutions are also obtained. Different Pareto solutions are analyzed to provide a theoretical support for the location decision model and the decision-makers, and then the feasibility of the model can be verified.

Keywords
