Differential Evolution Algorithm for Power System Computing Platform

Ming-yang YU

Abstract

It is proposed that power system computing platforms based on cloud computing be established. The prospects of the application of cloud computing in such fields as power system security analysis, power flow and optimizing power flow calculation, system recovery, monitoring, scheduling, and reliability analysis are looked forward to. The introduction of the application of differential evolution algorithm in the dynamic economic load dispatch of power systems is highlighted, and optimization algorithms are proposed to provide a useful exploration to mitigate power system cloud computing loads.

Keywords
