Lifang Qiao, Shaowei Zhang

Abstract

The study on the quality perception of college campus green land would help improve the green land environment quality and better serve the students. In this paper, IPA (Importance-Performance Analysis) and statistical test are employed to analyze the data of perception of the importance and performance of campus green land quality by surveying 285 students from Henan Institute of Science and Technology based on 20 factors. The test of Cronbach Reliability Alpha and factor analysis indicate that the survey scale has a high level of internal reliability and structural validity. Paired-sample t test demonstrates significant difference between the importance and performance of these 20 factors. IPA chart is plotted, and divides 20 green land quality perception factors in Henan Institute of Science and Technology into 4 sections: advantage section, maintenance section, improvement section and disadvantage section. The development strategy for various kinds of factors is also laid down. Quality perception of college campus green land is evaluated quantitatively based on importance-performance analysis.
