Ratio Cum Product Type Estimators for Estimation of Population Mean Using Two Auxiliary Variables Under Systematic Sampling

Prabhakar Mishra, Nitesh Kumar Adhichwal, Rajesh Singh

Abstract

In this paper an attempt has been made to estimate unknown population mean in systematic sampling. We have derived the conditions for the parameters under which the proposed estimators perform better as compared to the usual mean estimator and other existing estimators. An empirical study is also carried out in support of our result using a real population data set.

Keywords
