General Estimation Procedures with Multi Auxiliary Variables under Non-Response in Two-Occasion Successive Sampling

G. N. Singh, M. Khetan, S. Maurya

Abstract

The present work suggests some general estimation procedures of population mean on current occasion with the utilization of information on multi auxiliary variables when non-response occurs in two-occasion successive sampling. Sub sampling technique of non-respondents has been used to neutralize the negative effect of non-response when it occurs at either of the occasion in two-occasion successive sampling. Properties of the proposed estimation procedures have studied and empirical studies are carried out to justify the proposition of estimators. Suitable recommendations have been made.

Keywords
