Analyzing of Consumption Expenditures of Household by Clustering Techniques in Data Mining

Abstract


In this study, the raw data of “household budget survey” conducted by Turkey Statistics Institution in 2004 was taken and households were classified according to their food consumption expenses with the help of aggregation techniques used in data mining and were put forward by taking some demographical features such as consumer behaviors forms, number of households, rural – urban, into account. The center dependant classifier, which is compliant to the limits of the study and the aggregations obtained by density based aggregation techniques were compared and the dominating and weak sides were examined.
