Reduced Differential Transform Method for Solving Some Special Linear and Nonlinear Partial Differential Equations

Abstract



In this paper, we applied the Reduced Differential Transform Method (RDTM) for the solution of some special linear and nonlinear Partial Differential Equations (PDEs). This is being achieved by considering Newell-Whitehead-Segel Equation (NWSE), Telegraph Equation (TE), Standard Diffusion Equation (SDE) and Standard Gas Dynamics Equation (SGDE). Five numerical examples have also been carried out to validate and demonstrate the efficiency and reliability of the method. Comparing the RDTM results with theoretical solutions shows that the RDTM is efficient, highly accurate, effective, reliable, less consumption of time, and can be applied for the solution of many other linear and nonlinear initial value problems.
