Ecological Awareness and Eco-Sensitivity in India’s Technological Development: A Contemporary Insight

Abstract



Technology acts not only as a means to further universal wealth but also facilitates economic growth. As countries become more business-inclusive which also determines being more culturally cogent and conscious, owing to the understanding of economic and business models, there exists a slice of the economic pie for all. However, what often goes unanswered as countries sign MOUs(Memorandum of Understanding) and efficient collaboration takes place between governments and organizations is to what extent and how much growth is good enough that can resolve economic distress which in the process impedes control over ecology and vast ecosystems that are primarily and have been perennially responsible for life and sustainability of the planet. How eco-sensitive are our governments in the third world as they seek the thrill of yearning to be economically independent? Have the sensitivities of the civil societies been considered and addressed?
