Reconstruction of Periodic Binary Matrices from its Projections by Simulated Annealing Method

In Discrete Tomography with periodicity constraint, a concept of propagation set is used to create the objective function. This objective function is used to convert the reconstruction problem as optimization problem and then solved using heuristic technique of optimization, simulated annealing. Thus reconstruction of (p, q)- periodic binary images is proposed based on Simulated Annealing method. The proposed algorithms are tested on certain test cases and results are reported.
