Wavelet Transform Based Watermarking Using A Simple Spread Spectrum Technique

A. Jeyalakshmi, D. Ramyachitra

Abstract

This paper proposes reduction of error in wavelet transform based watermarking in images by hiding the data in the two mid frequency sub bands, the choice between the two sub channels being made randomly. Simulation shows that this simple spread spectrum technique yields much better performance, even when subjected to many signal processing operations.

Keywords

wavelet transforms, watermarking, spread spectrum.
