Abstract

Protective equipment (PPE) for health workers and patient companions are increasingly being discussed. The PPE is not only needed by officers who interact directly with patients but also by officers at every medical service for people without symptoms. How long will COVID-19 last, so technology bearers are still needed. As one of the measures to overcome the limitations of the PPE, in this study an intelligent robot system without an operator to assist medical services was built. Robotic systems are equipped with data acquisition, signal and image processing, vision systems, mapping, localization, and intelligence control. The technology resulting from this integration was then given the name Medical Robot-Controlled Intelligent Assistive Technology (MR-IAT) Covid-19. The MR-IAT has been successfully built and tested which is equipped with tracking capabilities, localization, patient face detection, mask wearer detection, obstacle detection, bio signal measurement (in the form of heart rate and body temperature, estimated blood pressure), UV disinfection, and drawer automation. Overall the MR-IAT were successfully tested and simulated by delivering food to three different rooms sequentially with accuracy above 95%.
