Querying, Modifying and Processing of RuleML Knowledge Bases

Mirel Cosulschi, Adrian Giurca, Mihai Gabroveanu

The RuleML family of languages deals with representation of rules and rulesets while rule storage and retrieval is completely neglected. In this paper, a model for a persistent storage for rules and an API specification for rules management is proposed. We implemented the
Rulestore API as a RESTful Web service and used the prototype to validate and improve the proposed protocol.
