On the Use of Chain –type estimator in Compromised Imputation under two phase sampling

In this paper, a one-parameter family of estimators, popularly known as Factor-Type Estimator (FTE), with compromised imputation strategy has been proposed using chain-type estimator in two phase sampling scheme, for the estimation of population mean of study variable under Non-response. Properties of the proposed estimator have been discussed and the expressions of bias and mean square error of the proposed estimators have been obtained. To show the efficiency of the proposed estimator over other existing estimators an empirical study and simulation study has been carried out.
