Courses Recommendations using Skyline BNL Algorithm

Abstract



The introduction of new technologies in the last few decades has brought about some creative methods in the field of education. For that we are facing an exponential increasing of the learning resources on the Web. The learner invests lot of time and effort in order to find appropriate training materials based on his or her need. In this regard, a recommendation system presents a powerful mechanism to tackle the information overload problem and to help learners in finding relevant contents that meet their needs. In this paper we used Knowledge- based recommendation technique with the application of the Skyline Block-Nested Loops algorithm to select the most appropriate courses that meet the chosen criteria.
