Group Acceptance Sampling Plans for Life Tests Based On the New Weibull-Pareto Distribution
Abstract
This article is based on truncated lifetimes where the item lifetime is following a new Weibull-Pareto distribution and group acceptance sampling plan is developed. The determination of the acceptance number required under the test termination time taking given group size for a minimum number of group and specified consumer’s risk. The calculations are done and the values of operating characteristic function at various levels are obtained. Also the minimum ratios of the true average life to the specified life at the given producer’s risk are obtained. Illustration of results is given by examples.
