An Improved Estimation Procedure of Population Mean in Two –Phase Successive Sampling

G. N. Singh, C. Singh, S. Suman

Abstract

This article has potential importance to estimate the mean of the current population using two-phase successive sampling. An improved exponential type of estimators are suggested and their properties are investigated. An empirical study is performed to show the superiority of the suggested estimator. The results suggest that the proposed estimator is useful for practical applications (especially in survey sampling).
